Help your child become more familiar with the relative sizes of metric units of length (millimeter, centimeter, meter and kilometers).
Find objects in your home with a length of about 1 centimeter, 1 millimeter, or 1 meter.
After you have collected 8 objects for each category, make three columns on a colorful piece of paper.
Example:
Millimeters                              Centimeters                                    Meters
the length of an ant               the length of a button                   the width of a door


Each column should have 8 objects. Once you are done, make your page colorful and pretty! Make sure you write your name, homeroom and your number!
